Eng. Gichuhi has for over 28 years been re sponsible for design of roads, estates, Office blocks, traffic surveys and analysis, soils and material surveys and Investigations, pavement design and contract administration for projects Kenya and Uganda.

In 1981 to date: - formed Sapamo Consultants and has been an associate at Ngasi Consulting Engineers since 1998. During this time the firm has carried out traffic studies, design of road, materials investigations, pavement designs, topographical survey and contract documentation and supervision for roads and related infrastructure in Uganda and Kenya . Some of the clients have been local authorities through the Ministry of Local Government, the World Bank with the Ministry of Local Government in the 3rd Urban World Bank projects in Kitale, Universities and private developers. Involved in development of numerous Office blocks and housing estates in the country providing engineering and financial consultancy.

In 1995 Eng. Gichuhi formed a full-fledged soils laboratory-Soil Testing Laboratories, which he runs and manages.
